ABC's Extreme Makeover, Home Edition
Announces it's return to Baltimore, Maryland!
ABC's Extreme Makeover, Home Edition team has made a major announcement in downtown Baltimore.
For the first time in the history of Extreme Makeover, Home Edition, the surprise "door-knock" was made on LIVE-TV and it happened this morning, July 9Th, on ABC Channel 2, Good Morning Maryland.
Last week we told you that the Extreme Makeover team was returning to the Baltimore area. This morning the team announced that they'll be rebuilding a girls home in the area.
The group is Boys Hope Girls Hope which helps teens better themselves through education, community services, and more. It is a group that helps co-parent the teens to live more productive lives.
Today on Good Morning Maryland @ 9 AM. Ty Pennington surprised the group of teen girls involved in Girls Hope and their program director, Kristin Norbert, and announced that they would be building a home for the girls, similar to the one that already exist for Boys Hope.
This visit by Ty and his cast of designers marks the second time in three years Extreme Makeover, Home Edition has come to the Baltimore area. This time they are in Baltimore. Not only was the live announcement made in the Inner Harbor, but the home is being built in Northeast Baltimore.
Below is the link to watch the video on the announcement in the Inner Harbor by Extreme Makeover.
