Dessert:  White  Chocolate  Cheesecake
  
Ingredients:   
                        
1  1/2  cups  graham  cracker  crumbs
                         1/4  cup  toasted,  ground  almonds
                         1/4  cup  plus  1  tablespoon  butter,  melted
                         1  lb.  white  chocolate,  coarsely  chopped
                         2  (8-oz.)  pkgs.  cream  cheese,  softened
                         1/2  cup  sour  cream
                         3  eggs
                         1  teaspoon  almond  extract 
                         Melted  chocolate  (optional)
                         Fresh  berries  (optional)

Preparation:

Combine  graham  cracker  crumbs,  almonds  and  butter;  blend  well.  Press  mixture  onto  bottom  and  1  inch  up  sides  of  a  9-inch  spring-form  pan;  chill.  In  a  1-quart  round  casserole,  place  white  chocolate.  Place  dish  on  white  ceramic  tray.  Cook  at  U=0  L=0  M=5  for  2  to  3  minutes;  stir  until  smooth.  Cool  slightly.   Combine  cream  cheese  and  sour  cream  in  a  large  mixing  bowl;  beat  at  medium  speed  with  an  electric  mixer  until  fluffy.  Add  eggs,  one  at  a  time,  beating  well  after  each  addition.  Add  vanilla,  almond  extract  and  white  chocolate;  stir  until  smooth  and  well  blended.  Pour  mixture  into  2-quart  round  casserole.  Place  dish  on  white  ceramic  tray.  Cook  at  U=0  L=0  M=7  for  12  to  13  minutes  or  until  very  thick,  stirring  with  a  wire  whisk  every  2  minutes.  Pour  into  crust.  refrigerate  4  hours  or until  firm.  Drizzle  chocolate  over  top  and  garnish  with  fresh  berries;  if  desired.

Yield:Makes 8 servings

Dessert:  Apple  Cranberry  Crisp


 INGREDIENTS:

1 cup light corn syrup
2/3 cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup coarsely chopped dried cranberries
1/2 (15-oz) pkg. refrigerated pie crust
whipped cream (optional)
chopped dried cranberries (optional

PREPARATION:

In a mixing bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla; blend well. Stir in pecans and cranberries. Line a 9-inch pie plate with pie crust according to package directions; flute edges. Pour pecan mixture into pie crust. Place plate on turntable. Cook using the appropriate settings below or until crust is golden and center is set. Cool before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and additional cranberries, if desired.

Yield:Makes 6 servings


Main  Dish:  Classic  Lasagna



INGREDIENTS:

1/2 pound bulk sausage
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups spaghetti sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
6 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella

PREPARATION:

Cook sausage, mushrooms, onion and garlic until sausage is browned; drain. Add spaghetti sauce and sugar; blend well. In a small bowl, combine egg, ricotta cheese and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese; blend well and set aside. Arrange 3 lasagna noodles in a greased 8-inch square baking dish, trimming to fit. Spread with half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Spoon half of sauce over cheese. Sprinkle with half of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layer of noodles, ricotta cheese mixture and sauce. Place dish on turntable or, if using the Advantium 120, on the black metal tray. Cook using the appropriate settings below or until bubbly. Top with remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses during last 5 minutes of cooking time. If using the Advantium 120, top with remaining cheeses during last 8 to 10 minutes of cooking time. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Main  Dish:  Chicken  a  la  Roma


INGREDIENTS:

1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
3/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste
1 (21/4-oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon instant chicken bouillon granules
2 teaspoons parsley flakes
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic pepper
2 to 21/2 lbs. chicken pieces
1 (6-oz.) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
Angel hair pasta
Grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:

Cook mushrooms, onion and garlic in olive oil until tender; drain. Combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, olives, wine, bouillon, parsley flakes, basil, oregano and garlic pepper; blend well. Stir in mushroom mixture. Place chicken in a 21/2-quart oval casserole. Pour tomato sauce over chicken. Arrange artichokes around chicken pieces; cover. Place dish on black metal tray. Cook at U=LO, L=LO for 34 to 36 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve over pasta.

Yield:Makes 4 servings

Main  Dish:  Broccoli  Beef

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons regular or dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster-flavored sauce
1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 lb. top sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
11/2 cups broccoli florets
1 small onion, cut into 1-inch squares
Vegetable oil
Cooked rice (optional)

PREPARATION:

In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster-flavored sauce, wine, oil, cornstarch and pepper; stir until smooth. Add steak, broccoli, and onion; stir to coat evenly. Brush the black metal tray with vegetable oil. Spread beef mixture on tray. Cook for 9 to 12 minutes at U=LO, L=LO or until desired doneness. Serve over rice, if desired
