Quotes

  • Quote pricing is valid for 10 days.
  • Manufacturer's product links are provided with your quote, but the specifications are subject to change by the manufacturer at any time.

Orders

  • Payment is required to place your order.
  • Current specifications will be provided at the time of order.
  • Order is only valid once all sales documents have been completed, signed, and remitted to ADU by the purchaser.
  • Based on the worldwide scarcity of appliances, manufacturer lead times are not guaranteed and can change at any time. With this fluctuating availability, ADU is not responsible for any delays these lead times may cause on your project timeline.

Payments

  • We accept ACH, Cash, Checks, AmericanExpress, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. We also offer same as cash financing; please inquire with your Client Account Manager.
  • If you do not have terms with ADU and your order has a balance, delivery cannot be scheduled until paid in full.
  • Payments 30 days past due are subject to a cumulative 2% late fee each month after 30 days.
  • There will be a $35.00 fee for returned checks or non-funded ACH.
  • Collections are subject to recovery of reasonable attorney's fees from the purchaser.

Holding Fee

We understand that project timelines can change, and we are happy to work with you on a short-term storage solution. Due to space constraints, the likelihood of damage, and the potential impact on product warranty, we will allow this as a one-time exception to change your firm date. ADU requires notification of any project timeline delays. We will gladly hold the appliances for your order for 30 business days from the firm date you provided. For inventory storage beyond 30 business days, a monthly holding fee of $75 will be assessed. If, after 90 days, you are unable to accept delivery of the appliances, the product will be reassigned to our general inventory and could potentially be reallocated to another order. Be advised that this would require ADU to reorder the appliances at the current manufacturer's pricing, and any price increases that have been incurred will be the responsibility of the client.

Delivery

  • 3 business days prior to your appliance delivery, you will receive a call or text to confirm the delivery timeframe.
  • At the time of delivery, your signature acknowledges receipt of your appliances in good condition. If you have any questions about the state of your appliances, opt to KEEP your boxes.
  • Standard delivery includes un-crating and placement at or near the installation location and removal of *outer* packing material, and it does *not* include the removal of any internal packaging inside the appliance or any protective films.
  • Any assemble is the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Due to the limited window of time, ADU has to report concealed damage to the manufacturer on your behalf, and it is IMPERATIVE to inspect your appliances thoroughly upon delivery and report any damage to ADU within 5 days.
  • If the purchaser requests multiple deliveries, additional charges will apply.
  • Smaller items such as microwaves, cooktops, and accessories will be opened and inspected for damage but left in-box to help prevent loss or damage once on site.
  • Appliances may be left in a garage or another location at the customer's request. However, an additional trip charge will apply if the delivery crew comes back out at a later date to move the appliances to their final locations.
  • Additional charges may apply and will be collected onsite if the delivery crew needs to remove doors, carry the appliances upstairs or remove existing appliances, etc.
  • Delivery crews require a clear path to the final location with all driveways, walkways, steps, etc., in place. Please inform our delivery coordinators about any special circumstances, such as flights of stairs, elevator access, site access restrictions, or special instructions or directions.
  • If delivery cannot be completed upon arrival, a re-delivery fee of up to the amount of the original delivery fee.

Damages

  • Please inspect your appliances thoroughly at the time of delivery.
  • ADU reserves the right to repair any cosmetic damages in the field.
  • After signing and accepting your item(s), you are responsible for any damage thereafter.
  • All damages MUST be reported within 5 days of delivery and noted on the shipping bill of lading.
  • At the time of delivery, your signature acknowledges receipt of your appliances in good condition. If you have any questions about the state of your appliances, opt to KEEP your boxes.

Returns & Cancellations

  • Any returns must be requested within 5 days of delivery.
  • If your item needs to be replaced, ADU reserves the right to pick up your appliance before your replacement is available.
  • A product cannot be returned if it has been installed.
  • No returns after 30 days: NO BOX, NO RETURN, NO EXCEPTION, Once the manufacturer seal has been opened, the item is considered open.
  • All returns (other than those due to damage noted at the time of delivery or reported within 5 days of delivery) are subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%.
  • Any returns or cancellations may void any rebates.
  • Special orders or any order that has custom requirements cannot be returned or canceled.
  • ADU is not responsible for any charges associated with a return or exchange.
  • After a product is installed, the purchaser must petition the manufacturer for any exchange, service, or return.
  • If you cancel any order before taking delivery, the order will be subject to a 3% credit card convenience fee. ADU reserves the right to refund by check.

Service & Warranty

  • All appliances come with documentation of the manufacturer's warranty. It is the customer's responsibility to complete the registration process of their appliance purchase with the manufacturer.
  • During the warranty period, the consumer must contact the manufacturer for service.
  • ADU has no authority to interfere with warranty issues. If you experience any service problems, please call ADU, and we will attempt to assist in finding an acceptable resolution. (The final decision is solely up to the manufacturer).
  • An appliance will be exchanged only if the manufacturer authorizes the exchange.
  • ADU offers third-party extended warranties. If interested, please ask your Client Account Manager for pricing.

Rebates & Promotions

  • Consumer rebates & promotions are offered by the manufacturer via a third party, and the manufacturer sets all terms and conditions.
  • ADU has no ability to interfere with or reconcile any suggested promotion by the manufacturer.
  • ADU has no control over product availability, which may affect the terms and conditions of the consumer rebate deadline.
  • Any returns or cancellations may void any rebates. ADU does not subsidize any missed funds for manufacturer third-party rebates.

Disputes

If there is a dispute, the purchaser agrees to attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting us prior to taking any other action. Failure to contact us to seek a dispute resolution prior to taking any other action will result in a breach of this Agreement by the purchaser. Any resolution to your dispute will be considered by us, and you agree to abide by the decision we decide on. Should you try a solution in a court of law, it will be your responsibility to pay our legal fees. You also waive any right to a trial by jury in the event of any contention or claim relating to this Agreement. In the event of any breach or violation of this Agreement, We shall be entitled to use all of our legal rights for the breach or wrongful activity.

Permits

Permits may be required for the installation of your appliances. If Permits are required, it's the responsibility of the purchaser/contractor to obtain and pay for permits. ADU will not obtain permits.

Website

  • ADU is not responsible for any website information that isn't accurate, current, or complete. The site material is for general information only and should not be the only source for making decisions. Any information on the site you rely on is at your own risk.
  • Certain products that are shown on the website are for online sales only.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless against any liability, damage, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys fees and expenses of litigation incurred by or imposed upon any in connection with any third-party claims, suits, actions, demands, or judgments ("Claims") under any theory of liability (including without limitation actions in the form of tort, warranty, or strict liability) resulting from or arising out of the practice or use of ADU (or any part thereof) by the purchaser, its Affiliates or any of their Sublicensees, or concerning any product, process, or service that is made, used, or sold pursuant to any right or license granted by ADU to the purchaser under this Agreement.
